This website is operated by Vent Covers, which sells galvanised steel vent covers in South Africa.

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.

Delivery is charged separately (see section 4) and is shown on the order page before you pay. Your order is confirmed once your payment has cleared and you receive a confirmation email. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if an item is out of stock or a price was shown in error.

Payments are processed securely by PayFast. You pay on PayFast's website using the payment methods they offer. We never see or store your card details. Orders are only processed after payment is received. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your personal information.

We deliver anywhere in South Africa by courier to the address you give us. Please check that your address and contact details are correct, as we cannot be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.

We dispatch paid orders within 3 business days of payment. Courier delivery then takes 5 to 10 days, depending on your region. We will email you once your order has been sent. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Delivery is a flat fee per order, based on your province or area:

Please inspect your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged or items are missing, tell us within 3 business days of delivery and keep the packaging and photos. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to your address.

• Before dispatch: email us as soon as possible. If the order has not been sent you will get a full refund, including delivery.
• After dispatch: the order can no longer be cancelled, but you may return the goods under section 6.

Change of mind. When you buy online you may cancel and return your order without giving a reason within 7 days of receiving the goods. To qualify, the covers must be unused, not installed, and in their original condition and packaging. Email us first so we can give you return instructions. You pay the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or were sent in error.

Faulty, damaged or wrong goods. If an item is defective, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, tell us as soon as you notice. Under the Consumer Protection Act you may choose a repair, replacement or refund for defective goods within 6 months of delivery. We pay for the return of faulty or wrongly supplied goods.

How refunds are paid. Refunds go back to the account or card you paid with, through PayFast. We refund within 10 business days of receiving and checking the returned goods (or, for cancelled orders, of confirming the cancellation). Your bank may take additional time to show the refund. We refund the price of the goods and, for faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods and cancelled orders, the delivery fee as well.

Not covered. We cannot refund covers that have been installed or damaged after delivery, or damage caused by incorrect installation or misuse. Please read the installation guide before you install.

Vent covers are galvanised steel, 200mm × 305mm with a 60mm airflow opening. Please measure your vent opening before ordering. Photos are for illustration and colours may vary slightly on different screens.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by incorrect installation, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot lawfully exclude.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
